Governor Branstad Visits with Students in the
Computer Lab
On December 9, 1996, Governor
Branstad visited Rock Valley Elementary. He congratulated the school on winning the
state sixth grade math bee and the boys' state basketball tournament. He took the
time to answer many questions from the students. The sixth grade students
presented him with a basket containing gifts from the school.
