| Welcome to Rock Valley Jr./Sr. High School, "Home of the Rockets and Nighthawks". I am Mr. Meylink, the Jr./Sr. High School Principal. I am proud to be the principal of this outstanding school. Prior to my present position as principal, I taught life and earth sciences at the Jr. High and Sr. High Level. I had also been involved in the coaching of several Jr. High and Sr. High school athletic teams. The decade of the 90's has seen, and the millennium will contine to experience rapid change that has and will continue to affect us all. This is especially true concerning today's students. I view this as the primary challenge facing the education of Rock Valley students today. This then becomes the focus of our mission, and hence our motto of "Educating Today's Students for Tomorrow". It is our responsibility as educators to provide our students with the tools necessary to enter today's world as highly responsible and well-prepared adults. This will furnish the students with the greatest opportunities for being successful citzens and having a rewarding and enjoyable adult life. |
